Hi, everybody. Buying a new recurve bow for man, What brand is better in your opinion?

None are “better” than any others, really. But some are more popular and of better quality (materials, workmanship, etc) than others.

Me, although my first “adult” bow was a Bear recurve and I currently have (and use) a Martin/Howatt longbow, I like the quality of a well-crafted custom bow (even when the bow ain’t made specifically for me – sometimes “custom” means they took the time to do it right the first time). Try looking at these bows, and have your fella look too, just to see what he happens to like (you don’t have to let on that you’re shopping for a bow to give him…):

Or, you could just go to your local archery store and look at what they have available that your fella happens to like. Again, your fella don’t have to know the bow is for him. Just say it’s for your brother, or uncle, or whoever. 😀
