I want to try a longer one. Do you think would help? (Im 14 and shoot a bow of 35 pounds, but is set to get stronger tips on Christmas) r thank Steven and the dealer. both of yalls answers helped. I went and shot my bow today, and little things made me more precise. I still have not received a stablizer even more, but I'm hoping that when I do I'll be much better! thanks again small Town Girl

Smalltow, Great Yahoo Answers question .. if you have a wrist strap. open the hand holding the one you will prevent the arc with. This torque your bow and shoot the arrow up, down, left, right. Also if you have a strap in his statement Rist don `t have the release by hand using the belt and just touch the trigger to shoot. This prevents torsion in the shaft and tighten groups. I bow hunting, archery, shooting for over 40 years. and if you need help I can give your contacts and ask questions via email. Archery is exciting, even if it doesn t seem. Have fun hope this helps.

The history of archery goes back thousands of years. No matches found stone arrowheads dating as far back as the years go by more than 25,000. As time went on, recent findings show feathers attached to arrows, axes own bows and arrows, still at least over 10,000 years old. Bows and arrows were first used for hunting purposes only, but as time passed it became a threatening and dominating force in the war.

Archery is practiced in many different civilizations emerging. In particular, the ancient Egyptians were known to have practiced archery for both hunting and battle. The Egyptians practiced archery dates back over 5,000 years. The Egyptians also believed to be the first people who have made composite bows, but is now believed to be found with this technology through the nomadic tribes who used the bow on horseback.

Using bows on horseback became a powerful military tactics. The Huns, led by Attila, famous for using horse archers to be everywhere throughout the Roman armies that were little archers. This despite the fact Alexander the Great had previously used for the success of the archers and the famous mythological figures as Ulysses is said to use a bow.

Other civilizations and armies around the east of archery is also used, including Chinese, Japanese, Indians and Persians. Some of the famous terracotta soldiers are archers. In addition, Native American tribes were also very proficient in archery and bows and arrows used for hunting and battles.

While archery remained a powerful tool in Eastern cultures in the Middle Ages in Western Europe, archery was not as popular as often described. At least not at first, in the beginning of the Middle Ages, when archery as a tool of warfare is degraded and class are considered low or negligible. The archers were very cheap but to train and install in a battle group, because of the relatively cheap cost of weapons and the lack of necessary armor for archers in the rear of the battlefield.

One of the turning points in this view was the development of the English longbow, which wrecked havoc in the French army at the Battle of Agincourt. The crossbow actually known to have existed for at least 2,500 years, was also used in medieval warfare as well as Eastern cultures, specifically and prevalence, most Chinese. The crossbow was more powerful and was higher for shorter time intervals, while the longbow provided a huge advantage in the distance that could hit with.

In archery became a powerful military weapon, the art of archery was also practiced and celebrated in the medieval culture. However, in the late Middle Ages, the importance of archery fell clearly. This is, of course, the development and application of powder and more advanced and powerful weaponry.

Today, archery is an Olympic sport is still practiced by many people. In addition, many people who catch choose to use bows and arrows as a way to practice a more natural and fair game, as opposed to super weapons that is available so easily.

Shot arc is a skill not mastered by many. It takes precision, stability, and focus. Whether in the woods stalking deer in the field or pointing at a target shooting arc, for all its advances, is still primitive in nature and there is something fascinating about it.
