Is there a traditional Graduation present for a Teacher?
I’m buying a graduation present for a new teacher who has just finished grad school and starts teaching High school in a few weeks. Any thoughts?
Get them something useful for their classroom. It is expensive to furnish a classroom, especially as a first time teacher, so you may want to get them something that they might want/need, but wouldn’t be able to afford.
If you’re on a smaller budget, decorate a sign saying “(Teacher’s Name)’s Classroom” or something like that. Whatever you do, don’t get coffee mugs or ornaments or anything that’s not really useful. He/she will get enough of that once Christmas rolls around.
