The popularity of the crossbow for hunting is actually on the rise. bow hunting in general is increasing across the United States. Over the years there has been a great debate about whether or not crossbows be allowed during archery season. There are bow and compound bow users that traditional users are totally against the use leaf spring. I have discussed this issue with several of them and the reasoning behind their argument simply does not make sense to me.

I would like to discuss some of their arguments, but first I'd like to know a little about me so that you know I'm not bias towards any type of archery hunting. I have 41 years and I've been looking for since I was a toddler. My dad bought me my first recurve when I was 7. At the time I was 13 was filming carp in streams in the summer and small game hunting in the fall with my parents 50 pounds. Bear Kodiak Magnum. Bow deer hunting became my passion for 17 years. I spend countless hours scanning shot sitting in a tree stand every year. I have garnered a lot of deer with archery equipment arc. Several adult males and two of them put me on the Big Buck Club in my state. All of them taken with a compound bow. I have harvested a small ball and several made with a crossbow.

Here are some of the arguments I hear.

Crossbows Crossbows are String Rifles have a broader scope than traditional archery, but not the newer compound bow. Last 30 yards at most crossbows have a track record is worse than a compound bow with the same or lower initial velocity.

Ballestas have much less a practice of a compound bow This is true, they have less practice to perfect. A compound is less practical than traditional archery, so you should ban hunting with a compound bow? Maybe we should all catch with 10 pounds. stones to do everything, even across the board.

If you are not man enough to draw a longbow, then he should not bow hunting. That one does not go well with my wife since she has garnered more white-tailed deer with a gun and a crossbow in the last 6 years than most men of his life. Two of them makes me real turkey with a crossbow harvest.

When did we all stop being on the same computer as hunters. Stop worrying about the equipment used around the world and spend more time enjoying the fellowship that comes along with hunting. Some of the most memorable moments of my life were spent hunting and fishing with my family and some of my best friends have developed over hunting and I can not really remember much about the team they used to hunt with.

So please enjoy the game the way you enjoy most about it and not become obsessed with the equipment being used.
Our hunting rights are being violated by anti-hunting groups and our own government, by allowing you to worry about about how to protect our rights in place.
